Annual Duck Ranger Derby at Camp Starfish
We can’t wait to “round up them duckies and drive ’em along!” If you don’t know what we’re talking about, let us tell you: The Duck Ranger is one of our favorite camp songs at Starfish. In fact, our annual fundraiser is centered around those yellow rubber duckies!
Each year in June, during Staff Training, we fundraise via rubber duck “adoptions” to raise money for camperships to help make sure that every child can come to camp.
Once all of the rubber ducks are adopted, we race them down a camp-made “river” and watch them waddle furiously for first place! 100% of funds raised from Duck Ranger Derby Adoptions go directly to provide camperships and program supplies for children attending Camp Starfish, a very special therapeutic summer camp in Rindge, NH. Thank you for making it possible for the duckies to race and for the kids to have a safe, fun summer!
Information on how to adopt your rubber ducks online will be available closer to the summer!
